The Company’s principal, Jonathan White MRICS MCIOB RMaPS, joined the construction industry in 1981 as a trainee Quantity Surveyor with a national contractor; in 1997 Jonathan decided to take the experience he had gained within the contracting sector to a new arena, that of construction consultancy. During subsequent years, Jonathan continued to develop his skills not only as a Quantity Surveyor, but also as a Project Co-ordinator, Employer’s Agent, Contract Administrator, Client’s Representative and Monitoring Surveyor on a spectrum of projects, from inception to completion, utilising various procurement methods and forms of contract.

With commercialism gained from a Quantity Surveying background, the ability to take a strategic view whilst dealing with detail, contractual knowledge attained from client and contractor perspectives, an empathy with clients’ requirements and the ability to impart these requirements to project team members, Jonathan’s experience has been demonstrated to be extremely beneficial to clients in relation to their construction projects.

This experience provides a comprehensive understanding of the design and construction process and the roles and responsibilities of the consultants, specialist organisations, contractors and sub-contractors involved.

As an indication of Jonathan’s experience, and professional development, he is proud to be accredited with the designations Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Chartered Project Management Surveyor, Chartered Builder and Registered CDM Co-ordinator.
