Employer's Agent
The success of a ‘design and build’ procured project is dependent upon the preparation, by the client’s appointed consultants and specialist organisations, of Employer’s Requirements detailing what is essential to the client in terms of programme, contractual, design, quality and functional requirements, whilst leaving the detailed design to the contractor and utilising their practical building experience.
The follow-through of this exercise is the effective administration of the building contract on the part of the Employer’s Agent, including the issuing of instructions, notices, statements, and the like, and maintaining contact with the contractor throughout the construction process.
Our Employer’s Agents service can be provided as a stand-alone service but is generally combined with our Cost Management and Contract Management service so as to provide a project with contractual, commercial and administrative coverage.
